Susan Stafford Kelly was raised in Rutherfordton, attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and earned her MFA from Warren Wilson College. She has three grown children and lives in Greensboro with her husband. In addition to being a contributing writer for Our State magazine, Susan is the author of five novels.
