Meet_Maker

Laura Bristow began creating pottery in 1995. Laura studied under the tutelage of Sid Luck in Seagrove, and purchased her first wheel and kiln about six months later. She’s continued working with the famous Luck's Ware in addition to pursuing her own pottery work and online embroidery store. Laura mixes her own glazes, and fires most of the pieces in an electric kiln, though when she gets the chance she uses the traditional groundhog salt kiln. Her work can be found online or at her home-based shop located in her hometown of Asheboro.
