Sandra O’Quinn, founder and artist of O’Quinn Pottery, started out long ago after a local potter let her try turning some pottery on the wheel. Hooked, she took classes at the community college and opened her own studio in 1989. Her husband, Glenn McNeill, joined her full-time at the studio a few years later, and together they have run their little pottery studio out of a rustic log cabin in Seagrove for more than 27 years. They specialized in handmade, functional pottery in the vivid colors of gas- fired glazes.
