Meet_Maker
Based out of Chapel Hill, Michelle Fairholm has been creating pottery for more than fifteen years. She has a BA in studio art, has participated in several workshops focusing on clay since graduation, and started working as a professional potter in 2016. Each of her pieces is wheel-thrown and then hand-decorated in various slip techniques. She loves the textures and patterns these techniques create. Michelle enjoys the rich history of pottery in North Carolina and the close community of clay artists congregated here.
