Tommy Davis of Missions Pottery began creating pottery as a hobby and stress reliever. After taking classes, he was hooked! His work has evolved and uses a variety of techniques, such as clay-weaving and imprinting, and he specializes in functional yet beautiful pieces that will work around the house. The name Missions Pottery is purposeful. Through their profits, they support Christian missions in America and around the world. Missions Pottery is a mainstay of downtown Lexington, NC, where Tommy sells his and other local artisans’ work, in addition to teaching pottery to others.

I cannot wait to give this
Beehive cup to my new Daughter-In-Law for Christmas! She is a bee collector and thus cup will tickle her to pieces. It’s the right size, its shape and weight are just right. I’m so glad that I found this in the OUR STATE STORE. And especially glad that part of proceeds go to a mission sponsored group.
