magnificent, authoritative guide

I bought this book without having seen it, so I didn't fully appreciate how complete, easy-to-use, and informative it is. I am no butterfly expert but it's hard to imagine anything more complete! It's no pocket guide--heavy, quality paper--so definitely a shelf book, but that's what I wanted. And if you have priced other butterfly guides you know how reasonable this price is. Wonderful companion to my bird and flower guides.
