Jeff Brown Pottery features the work of both Michele Hastings and Jeff Brown. Together, the couple creates art for daily living in their studio off Pottery Highway 705 in Seagrove. They make most of their work on a potter’s wheel, and then manipulate pieces by hand to create unique forms and textural designs. Each piece is finished with a high-temperature vitreous glazing process. Jeff has been making and selling pottery since 1981. His adventures in pottery have taken him all over the United States and beyond, but in 2010, he settled with Michele back in North Carolina, having grown up near the Seagrove pottery community.
