Nutan Gupta, owner and maker behind Cydwlk Jewelry, has created beautiful jewelry from her Chapel Hill studio since 2007. Her first job as a buyer of handcrafted jewelry in India gave her an introduction to gemstones and metals, but she is largely self-taught. Nutan moved to North Carolina ten years ago from Texas to pursue her MBA degree at the University of North Carolina. Her pieces are inspired by the four seasons here in North Carolina, combining colors and designs reminiscent of our state’s flora and fauna with the classic gemstone combinations she learned years ago working with local artists in India..
