Made in Wake Forest by Angelia Hayes Pottery. Angelia Hayes, of the eponymous Hayes Pottery, began working in clay years ago. Her joy of working with the earth harkens back to growing up on a tobacco farm and playing in the mud. Mentored by Dan Finch in his Bailey studio, she eventually opened her own studio in 2004. She specializes in slab work and loves to create durable, beautiful pieces from clumps of clay that add value to a person’s daily life. She currently works out of her Wake Forest studio.
