Tommy Davis of Missions Pottery began creating pottery as a hobby and stress reliever. After taking classes, he was hooked! His work has evolved and uses a variety of techniques, such as clay-weaving and imprinting, and he specializes in functional yet beautiful pieces that will work around the house. The name Missions Pottery is purposeful. Through their profits, they support Christian missions in America and around the world. Missions Pottery is a mainstay of downtown Lexington, NC, where Tommy sells his and other local artisans’ work, in addition to teaching pottery to others.
