Cathy Cleary opened the now-iconic West End Bakery Café in West Asheville in 2000, and in 2014, she published The West End Bakery and Café Cookbook to satisfy requests for her recipes. Cathy and her husband own a small farm outside Asheville where they grow as much of their own food as possible.
