Carolina Coto is a Costa Rican–American artist living on the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. Growing up in San José, Costa Rica, her love for art began at age nine, inspired by her father who painted as a hobby and often took her to local art shows. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Costa Rica, Carolina now works as a full-time artist. Since moving to the Outer Banks in 2011, her work has evolved from vibrant urban scenes to paintings inspired by the inspiring coastal landscapes that surround her.
